A deposit goes towards the total cost of your commission, and reserves your spot in my schedule. With over a decade of professional painting experience, I welcome a friendly approach to determine what you are envisioning for your project.
Each client speaks their own language of colors, interests, ideas. The magic is in the trust they give me, and my ability to translate these preferences into a work of art.
There are many points of entry to beginning a new painting. My commission with you is rewarding because it is a true collaboration from your life to the canvas. For new collectors who want a painting but may need some guidance, here are a few ideas of what a painting might be about:
❦ A variation of some of my previously sold work you fell in love with.
❦ To honor a memory. This could be from a landscape (like your garden from home) the colors in a textile worn by a loved one, the flowers from your wedding bouquet, birth month flowers of children or parents.
❦ To help you bring a new energy to your home. By using specific color palettes and combination, I can help to shift the mood in any room to align with the intentions you want to set and how you want to feel when you are there.
Prices are based on size, and we will finalize all of the details before the work begins. Commissions typically take 6-8 weeks for completion, depending on scale, with additional time needed for the oils and varnish to dry. If you are local to the Seattle area, I offer pickup at my studio or local delivery free of charge. I ship internationally for those outside of the United States.
